Job responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional development teams and project managers to determine client requirements for software development projects
  • Develop intuitive software solution that meets and exceeds the needs of the clients
  • Maintain software products/systems and create updates regularly to address client/company concerns

  • Analyze and test programs and products before the final launch/delivery
  • Troubleshooting coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
  • Ensure software security by developing programs and monitoring information sharing activities
  • Investigate and identify advanced opportunities to improve business software processes and interactions

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in remote software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Proficient with multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries, including React, Node, Python, JavaScript, React Native, PHP, Python, Java, among others
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in remote software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Proficient with multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries, including React, Node, Python, JavaScript, React Native, PHP, Python, Java, among others
  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards
  • Fluent with software design and architecture for large-scale distributed systems
  • Well-versed with data structures and algorithms
  • Functional knowledge and design experience with Web Services (REST) along with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
  • Efficiency in using code versioning tools like Git and project management tools like Jira
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environment
  • Familiar with CI/CD/CT pipelines
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
